| Body | Size: large to medium. Shape: muscular, cobby, broad chest, shoulders and back strong and solid |
| Head | Shape: round and massive with a broad skull. Nose: short, broad and straight with a slight indentation, but not a stop as in the "Exotic". Chin: strong. Neck: head set on a short, very strong and well-developed neck |
| Ears | Shape: mall and slightly rounded at the tips. Placement: set wide apart |
| Eyes | Shape: Large, round, wide open. Placement: set wide apart. Colour: depends on the colour of the coat - copper or deep orange, blue, odd eyed, green or bluegreen, green is preferred |
| Legs | Shape: short and strong. Paws: round and firm |
| Tail | Size: short and thick. Shape: lightly rounded at the tip |
| Coat | Texture: short and dense, not lying flat and with a good undercoat, fine texture should be crisp to touch. Colour: every hair should be uniform in colour down to the roots, except of tabby and silver varieties |
